The Meadowbrook Academy for Developing Entrepreneurs is designed for students who are interested in learning to launch their own startups while in high school. This program is designed for any student, no matter the interests or passions, who are self-driven and have the desire to create and innovate in a collaborative environment! Whether you are a jewelry designer, baker, YouTuber, makeup artist, author, interested in becoming a doctor and opening your own practice - you belong at M.A.D.E! Our students have access to a robust business curriculum that allows them the opportunity to generate ideas, develop a business plan, design prototypes using a variety of equipment, acquire financing, and open their business. The core honors courses of the program, entrepreneurship, marketing, accounting, advanced entrepreneurship and dual enrollment business management create a pathway for students to establish the core principles of entrepreneurship to launch a business of their own! Students will also have the opportunity to collaborate and network with industry professionals, local universities, and startups to enhance their skills and open the doors to more extensive opportunities. Throughout the year student entrepreneurs develop a business plan and write a pitch to present at our annual MADE Shark Tank event for a chance to win seed money. Students will also take part in the MADE Student Business Expo.

Students in the MADE MARKETING & MEDIA DESIGN pathway will focus on the importance of traditional media and social media marketing strategies in the marketplace. Students will create visual concepts, using Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate consumers. A combination of marketing & graphic design courses will allow students to tailor their experience based on individual interests and career goals. Internships and Co-Op available for 11th & 12th graders. Students will also operate a school marketing & design firm.
